Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 8, 2026 | Last Updated: August 8, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Uniyantra software-as-a-service platform ("Uniyantra", "Platform", "Service") available at https://uniyantra.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all education consultancies, agency administrators, counselors, intake officers, and authorized personnel ("Users" or "Subscribers").

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organization or educational agency, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Uniyantra is an AI-powered multi-tenant B2B SaaS platform designed specifically for study-abroad education consultancies. Key functionalities include:

  • Course recommendation and shortlisting engines for international higher education.
  • Student management for tracking academic records, English test scores (IELTS, PTE, TOEFL), and intake statuses.
  • Multi-tenant role-based user management for agency staff.
  • Integrated student communication tools, including Gmail OAuth 2.0 integration for inbox sync and email composition.

3. User Accounts & Workspace Isolation

Each customer operates within a logically isolated workspace. Account administrators are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of workspace credentials, assigning appropriate role-based permissions (Admin, Counselor, Reception, Documents), and for all activities conducted under their tenant account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy & Email Anti-Spam Requirements

Users agree to utilize Uniyantra exclusively for lawful educational advising and student management operations. When connecting email accounts (such as Gmail via OAuth 2.0), Users strictly agree to:

  • No Unsolicited Bulk Emails (Spam): You must NOT send unsolicited commercial emails, mass marketing broadcasts, or fraudulent communications to students or third parties.
  • Authorized Communications: All emails sent through the Platform using connected Gmail accounts must be legitimate, authorized communications sent to prospective or current students who have expressed interest in counseling services.
  • Compliance with Anti-Spam Laws: Users must comply with all applicable anti-spam laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, and local privacy regulations.
  • Prohibited Content: You may not transmit malware, offensive content, phishing attempts, or unauthorized attachments.

5. Third-Party OAuth Integrations & Token Revocation

Uniyantra enables optional integration with third-party service providers, including Google OAuth 2.0 for Gmail synchronization.

  • Users authorize Uniyantra to access permitted scopes (gmail.readonly, gmail.send, email, profile) solely to deliver internal messaging features.
  • Users may disconnect their connected email accounts at any time in Uniyantra workspace settings or via Google Account Security permissions. Disconnection triggers immediate revocation of stored OAuth tokens via https://oauth2.googleapis.com/revoke.
  • Uniyantra is not responsible for service interruptions caused by third-party API availability, token expiration, or account suspensions initiated by Google.

6. Intellectual Property & Data Ownership

Subscribers retain all ownership rights to their student management records, lead data, and uploaded documents. Uniyantra retains all proprietary rights, copyright, trade secrets, and intellectual property in the Platform software, recommendation algorithms, scoring models, and UI design.

7. Termination & Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Uniyantra immediately, without prior notice, if a User breaches these Terms, engages in unauthorized spamming or fraudulent email activities, or violates Google API Services User Data Policies. Upon termination, connected OAuth tokens are revoked and access to the workspace is disabled.

8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Uniyantra and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
